Babydoll Sucker Punch Costume

Escaping to your own reality. This was a special commission cosplay. The entire cosplay was made from scratch –from pattern to finished product. The jacket and pleated skirt are made from navy blue cotton twill with white grograin ribbon trims. The sailor cape of jacket is made from oyster coloured cotton twill and trimmed with navy blue grograin ribbon (i chose grosgrain because it has less of a sheen than regular satin ribbons). Headband is made with regular stretch black cotton fabric. And the katana and gun are all customized with plastic toy weapons and painted with acrylics and spray paint to give it a more realistic look. After painting, the katana was wrapped in strips of faux-leather to give it that extra oomph from the movie.
