Bunsen & Beaker Costume

Bunsen & Beaker –Bunsen and Beaker’s mascot heads and gloves were all handmade. The gloves are made with fleeced cotton and measured to fit. Bunsen’s head was hand-built with paper mache with batting added to the interior and exterior. The exterior was then covered with fleeced cotton the same colour as the gloves. Bunsen’s glasses are made from black plastic tubing and adhered to the head. Beaker’s head is made from a foam structure interior with batting for comfort. Hair is sewn in place with bright orange fun fur. The eyes are made with Styrofoam balls with white cotton covering it and then 2 black circles made with black felt is glued as the pupils. The nose is sewn with red felt and stuffed with batting to give it shape.
